Rudolfovo – Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto is a public research institute founded in 2022 with a clear mission: to co-create, develop and transfer high-tech knowledge into the economy and practical use. We act as a bridge between science and real-world application, transforming research excellence into concrete solutions that improve processes, products and quality of life. Our vision is to become a leading research organization in the field of advanced technologies, recognized for effectively linking knowledge, development and practical value. 
Our research is carried out through five centres: the Centre for Digitalization (CEDIG), the Centre for Social and Technological Transitions and Circularity (CEKROG), the Centre for Advanced Technologies (CENT), the Centre for Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property (CETIP), and the Centre for Applied Quantum Computing (CEQ). Together, these centres create an interdisciplinary research environment connecting digitalization, artificial intelligence, sustainable transitions, advanced industrial technologies, knowledge transfer and quantum computing. 
Our work is supported by modern research infrastructure across five laboratories: {LabTOP, {Lab3D, {LabX, {LabM and {LabE. These laboratories enable us to develop, test and validate solutions in factories of the future, 3D technologies, extended reality, materials analysis and energy management. 
In a short time, Rudolfovo has built a recognizable research ecosystem. We collaborate closely with industry, secure national and international projects, and develop innovations that result in prototypes, new processes, scientific publications, patents and other forms of knowledge transfer into practice. By the end of 2025, Rudolfovo brought together 56 employees from 11 countries and strengthened its role as a modern, internationally ambitious and development-oriented institution contributing to the technological and sustainable development of the region.
