Nelson Munoz is the Founder and CEO of Ruffo since March 2022. Previously, they worked as an Associate at DVx Ventures from August 2021 to June 2022, where they helped launch and scale impactful businesses. Before that, they served as a Graduate Student Researcher at MIT Innovation Initiative from November 2020 to July 2021, focusing on researching the Venture Studio model. Prior to that, Nelson worked as the Innovation Lead at Banco Fihogar from August 2017 to August 2019, leading the bank's innovation team and guiding its digital transformation, which earned the bank the Platinum Award from Fintech Americas. Nelson also gained experience as a Management Consulting Associate at PwC from August 2015 to August 2017, where they applied machine learning techniques and conducted research on IoT technologies for various clients.

Nelson Munoz completed their MSc in Engineering & Management with a focus on Integrated Design & Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in Business Analytics, from Babson College, where they studied from 2011 to 2015.

In terms of additional certifications, they earned a Scrum Master Certificate and a Software Product Manager designation from Product School in June 2016. Nelson also obtained a certification in "Internet of Things: Roadmap to a Connected World" from MIT Professional Education in April 2016. Additionally, they hold a Credentials of Readiness (CORe) certificate from Harvard Business School Online, earned in 2014. Earlier, in 2010, they completed the Leadership in the Business World Summer Program at The Wharton School, obtaining a Certificate of Completion.
