Software Engineer Mobile at Rugged Robotics

Daniel Melo has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Daniel started their career as a Software Developer Intern at Elite Contadores E Consultores Associados in 2017. Daniel then worked as a Software Engineer Student at Brigham Young University - Idaho from 2017 to 2022. During this time, they gained experience in software engineering.

In 2019, Daniel worked as a Freelancer at Criadora de Mundos and Maxmeio, where they took on various software development projects. Daniel also gained experience as a Mobile App Developer at Mycon, where they designed applications using MVVM and single-activity architectures and delivered apps to the Play Store.

In 2022, Daniel joined FamilySearch as a Software Engineer. Daniel collaborated with the backend team to rewrite a system using microservices and event-driven architecture. Daniel also implemented unit tests for the system. Daniel's role at FamilySearch ended in 2022.

Most recently, in 2023, Daniel joined Rugged Robotics as a Software Engineer Mobile.

Daniel Melo started their education in 2009 at IFRN, where they pursued a Técnico degree in Informática, which they completed in 2012. In 2015, they enrolled at Brigham Young University - Idaho for a pathway program, PathwayConnect, focusing on Life Skills. During the same year, they also attended Senac Brasil and obtained a degree in desenvolvedor java, specializing in Java. In 2016, Daniel returned to Brigham Young University - Idaho and earned a Bacharelado degree in Tecnologia da Informação. Additionally, in 2016, they completed two more professional certificatiom programs at Senac Brasil, one in Programming de Computadores - Aplicativos Específicos and another in Programação Web.
