Zach Barton is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software engineering and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Rula since January 2025, Zach previously held similar roles at Jellyvision and Cloudbakers, where responsibilities included app development and cloud programming. Earlier in Zach's career, experience as an Independent Game Designer resulted in the creation of the award-winning tabletop card game, Bad Detectives. Zach's project management acumen was demonstrated while overseeing a significant overhaul project for the Chicago Transit Authority's bus fleet. Prior roles included mechanical engineering positions at Nordex and BAE Systems, focusing on wind turbine design and military vehicle enhancements, respectively. Zach holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
