Muhammad Rashid

Muhammad Rashid is a researcher with extensive experience in the field of artificial intelligence, specifically in explainable AI (XAI) and computer vision. Currently a Visiting Researcher at the University of Granada since January 2025, Muhammad is involved in the EU Project DistriMuSe, focusing on enhancing human-robot interactions through virtual reality environments. As a PhD Researcher at Università degli Studi di Torino and simultaneously a PhD Student at Rulex, Muhammad is dedicated to developing XAI methods to enhance transparency and trust in complex AI models. Previous positions include working as a Computer Vision and Machine Learning Expert on freelance platforms from 2018 to 2023, and serving as a Research Scholar at COMSATS University Islamabad, where Muhammad completed a Master of Science in Computer Vision and Graphics with multiple published research articles. Educational qualifications include pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Università degli Studi di Torino and completing courses in Machine Learning at the University of Oxford.
