This process converts soft raw elastomeric compounds into a solid vulcanized rubber containing the desired elastic mechanical properties. Rubber technology is a huge multidiscipline science where material technologists, process engineers and mechanical engineers all contribute their important part to the end result. Material Technologists develop and optimize rubber recipes. Process Technologists are responsible for maintaining and optimizing production and vulcanization processes. Mechanical Engineers are busy with the design of products and the optimization of products and also all our own product ranges.
