Natalie Peters has a diverse work experience ranging from 2009 to 2019. Natalie began as Showroom Manager & Design Consultant for AmishTables in 2009, then held an Administrative Assistant position with The Smithsonian Associates Art Collectors Program in 2010. In 2011, they were an Intern at Art Services International, Curatorial Intern at Smithsonian American Art Museum, and Editorial Intern & Research Fellow at Archives of American Art Journal. In 2012, they worked as Exhibitions Assistant at Folger Shakespeare Library and Exhibitions Coordinator & Registrar at Gold Leaf Studios. From 2014 to 2016, they were Events and Office Manager at RumbleUp: Personal Scalable Texting. In 2018, they were a Consultant at Clark Priftis Art, LLC. Finally, from 2016 to 2019, they were an Independent Art Scholar & Freelance Editor. As part of this role, they were part of a small dedicated team to appraise the Corcoran Gallery of Art’s bequest to American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center. Natalie served as project manager, created a cloud-based system of tracking and managing data, and completed the project within eight months. Natalie also utilized auction record databases and conducted archival research, corresponded with hundreds of artists, dealers and galleries, and personally handled and assisted in the appraisal of hundreds of artworks. Natalie also contributed to a book, gave a lecture, and more.

Natalie Peters obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from Madonna University between 2003 and 2007. Natalie then went on to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) in History of Decorative Arts at George Mason University between 2010 and 2015. In 2012, they obtained a Certificate in Nineteenth-century architecture, decorative arts, and material culture from the Victorian Society in America as part of the Newport Summer Program: Gilded Age architecture & design. In 2011, they also completed a study abroad program at The University of Glasgow, which contributed to their MA in History of Decorative Arts.
