Amanda Litman has a diverse and impressive work experience. In 2010, they served as the Editor-in-Chief for North by Northwestern. Amanda then joined the Obama for America campaign in 2011 as an Outbound Writer, where they played a crucial role in raising over $690 million online and facilitating the campaign's voter outreach efforts.
In 2013, Litman worked for Organizing for Action as the Deputy Email Director, raising more than $15.4 million online and establishing the organization's grassroots advocacy group. Amanda then transitioned to Charlie Crist for Governor in 2014, serving as the Digital Director and overseeing a $4 million digital program that employed various strategies such as email, social media, and web content to support the gubernatorial race.
From 2015 to 2016, Litman took on the role of Email Director for Hillary for America, where they led a 19-person team in managing a sophisticated and data-driven email program. Under their guidance, the campaign successfully raised $185 million, recruited half a million volunteers, sold the highest amount of merchandise compared to other Democratic political stores, and fostered strong connections between Hillary Clinton and their supporters.
Finally, in 2017, Litman co-founded Run for Something, an organization dedicated to helping young people run for political office. As the Executive Director, they played a vital role in supporting aspiring candidates and facilitating their electoral campaigns. Throughout their career, Litman has demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic planning, fundraising, and communication skills.
Amanda Litman attended James W. Robinson Jr. Secondary School from 2002 to 2008. Amanda then enrolled at Northwestern University and pursued a Bachelor's degree in American Studies from 2008 to 2012.
