Dillon de Give has a diverse work experience in the field of video editing and teaching. Dillon started in 2001 as a Video Editor at Fluid Post and later worked at 44 Pictures and OUTPOST ARTISTS RESOURCES INC in the same role. Dillon then became a Freelance Film/Video Editor, taking on various video editing projects until 2017. In 2010, they joined the Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP) as a Teaching Artist, teaching project-based courses on urban systems and issues through filmmaking. Dillon continued their teaching career at Seattle Public Schools as an Instructor, teaching a course on digital storytelling. In 2017, they joined Coyote Central as a Teaching Artist, focusing on filmmaking, radio drama, and movie trailer courses. Dillon also served as an Adjunct Faculty at North Seattle College in 2018. Dillon has also worked for Microsoft as a Video Editor and Project Manager, managing the production of screen-based videos for Microsoft Office products. Currently, they are working as a Video Editor at Run Studios since 2018.
Dillon de Give obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio/Television/Film from Northwestern University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Dillon'seducation continued at Portland State University, where they pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Art and Social Practice from 2010 to 2013.
