Javis Johnson

Javis Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Javis started their career as a Bookseller/Cafe Server at Barnes & Noble, Inc. in 2009 and later transitioned to the role of Lead Cashier at the same company in 2014.

In 2012, Javis joined Delta Air Lines as a Ramp Agent/Aircraft Load Agent and also worked as a Sky Club/Gate Agent. Javis continued their career in the aviation industry until 2020.

Javis then worked at Amazon as a Robotics Maintenance Tech from 2021 to 2022, gaining experience in software deployment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of scout bots.

Javis also owned Bear Play Dead, where they released their own music projects and worked as the owner from 2020 onwards. Javis showcased their audio production skills by producing music for various artists and creating original compositions for content creators on platforms like YouTube and Twitch. Javis is proficient in using digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Ableton and Reason Studios, as well as hardware samplers and synthesizers like Digitone and the MPC series.

Most recently, Javis joined Microsoft in 2022 as a Broadcast Streaming Technician at RUN Studios. Prior to that, they worked at RUN Studios as a Broadcast Operations Center Generalist.

Javis Johnson attended Augusta State University from 2006 to 2008. During this time, they focused on studying music, although the specific degree they pursued remains unknown.
