Ryan Knapp

Ryan Knapp has a diverse work experience in the field of media production and live event operations. Ryan started their career in 2002 at Safeway, where they worked as a Journeyman Cashier and Mandatory End Display Coordinator for over a decade. In 2011, they joined Phoenix Digital Productions as a Freelancer until 2013.

In 2013, Knapp began working at RUN Studios as an Engineer in Charge and later also took on the role of Live Director & Engineer. Ryan held these positions until present. In 2015, they started working as a Technical Director, Replay Operator, and Engineer (Freelance) at Angel of the Winds Arena, a role which they still hold.

In 2018, Knapp became a Technical Director and Replay Operator (Freelance) for the Seattle Seawolves Rugby team. Ryan has been in this position since May 2018.

In 2022, Knapp joined the Seattle Kraken as an EVS Replay Operator and also became an EVS Replay Operator at Pac-12 Networks later in the same year. Both of these positions are their current role titles.

Ryan Knapp attended Bellevue College from 2010 to 2012, earning an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Digital Media Arts. During their time at Bellevue College, they also obtained a certification in Advanced Video Production. In addition to their college education, Ryan Knapp has obtained two certifications from Audinate: Dante Certification Level 2 in October 2017 and Dante Certification Level 1 in September 2017.
