Jon Byrnes

Jon Byrnes has been working in the software development and engineering industry since 1997. Their first job was as a Systems Engineer at Object Design in 1997. Jon then moved to Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA as a Project Manager in 1998. In 2000, they became a Software and Web Engineer at ACCORDIA (formerly Online Retail Partners). From 2004 to 2010, they worked at Sterling Testing Systems, Inc. as an Integrations Architect. During this time, they also worked as a Senior E-Commerce Developer at Scholastic in 2010. In 2010, they became a Senior Developer at HBO and a Senior Developer / Architect at Discovery Communications in 2015. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Developer at RunBuggy since 2020.

Jon Byrnes earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems (MIS) from University at Albany, SUNY between 1992 and 1996.
