Conner McDowell

Conner McDowell is currently the Trust & Safety Program Director at Runway, working to enhance online content safety while preserving creative expression. Previously, Conner served as the Director of Trust and Safety Content Policy at Twitch, addressing complex policy challenges related to community trust and safety. From 2017 to 2020, Conner was a Senior Policy Program Manager at Amazon, overseeing content policies for Alexa during significant growth. Conner's career began with a focus on policy communication and program management at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) and Innovations for Poverty Action, where they engaged with policymakers globally. Conner holds a Master of Public Administration from Princeton University and a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Wesleyan University.
