Christopher Garman has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering and technology fields. Christopher started their career in 1997 as the Founder and CEO of Redpoint Controls, Inc., where they successfully led the company from a 2-member partnership to a staff of 6. In 2004, they joined Electronic Warfare Associates (EWA) as a Principal Engineer for the Tagging, Tracking, and Locating Team. In 2012, they became a Senior Engineer at SimpliciKey, where they managed a distributed team of engineers, consultants, and manufacturers. In 2014, they founded Garman Engineering, LLC, where they served as the Owner and Licensed Professional Engineer. In 2017, they joined Bliley Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Engineer for the GPS and CSAC disciplined oscillator teams. Finally, in 2019, they became the Lead Hardware Engineer at Runwise, where they were responsible for developing and implementing a 915 MHz wireless sensor network.
Christopher Garman obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from West Virginia University between 1994 and 1999. Christopher then obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from West Virginia University between 1999 and 2001. In July 2001, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the West Virginia Board of Professional Engineers.
