Tavis Tucker

Tavis Tucker is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in web development and software engineering, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at runZero since January 2023, where Tavis focuses on building software with Vue.js and enhancing user experience. Prior to this role, Tavis spent over seven years at Tenable, first as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Staff Software Engineer, leading a team to deliver features for the Tenable.io SaaS product and contributing significantly to the Nessus vulnerability scanner. Tavis has also held positions as a Front End Web Developer at Apptio and as a Web Development Manager at Sabre Hospitality Solutions, managing client projects and ensuring quality deliverables. Tavis began the career at E-site Marketing as a Senior Web Developer, establishing efficient frameworks for website production. Tavis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from McDaniel College and a certificate in CIS Programming and Application Development from Carroll Community College.
