Rural Community Partners (RCP) is an independent, non-governmental regional intermediary serving Southeast Kansas. Our mission is to strengthen communities by building economic opportunity, connecting partners and resources, and advancing long-term regional collaboration.

RCP works across county lines to align partners, reduce duplication, and help communities move forward together. Rather than replacing local organizations, we strengthen and connect them by coordinating efforts that support entrepreneurship, workforce development, community health, and economic growth.

Government agencies, universities, nonprofits, and economic development organizations all play critical roles in supporting rural communities. RCP works alongside these partners to help coordinate regional strategies and collaborative initiatives that no single organization has the capacity to lead alone.

Through this work, Rural Community Partners helps build individual economic stability, strengthen communities, and create lasting opportunities across Southeast Kansas.
