Heather Polaschek

Heather Polaschek has over 18 years of work experience in various roles related to human resources and people management. Heather is currently the Head of People & Culture at RUSH since April 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior People Business Partner at Vend by Lightspeed from July 2018 to April 2022. Prior to that, they served as a People Business Partner for the Country Road Group in New Zealand from January 2014 to June 2018. Heather also held positions as a Human Resources Advisor at Macmillan Cancer Support from May 2012 to October 2013 and at Spark New Zealand from December 2010 to March 2012. Heather started their career as an Employment Relations Advisor at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment from January 2009 to December 2010. Additionally, they have experience as a Retail Store Manager at Monsoon Accessorize from April 2004 to February 2006.

Heather Polaschek obtained their Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree with a focus on Human Resources & Industrial Relations and International Business from Victoria University of Wellington. Heather also participated in a student exchange program at Università Bocconi, studying Human Resources and International Business as well.
