Simon Thomas

Simon Thomas has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Tutor at NCEA Campus in 2012. Simon then worked as a Waiter at The Mediterranean Restaurant and Pizzeria from 2012 to 2015. In 2013 and 2014, they had two separate roles as an Assistant Product Development Engineer (Summer Studentship) at Fisher and Paykel Healthcare. Simon co-founded The Learning Collaborative NZ in 2015 and served as the CEO until 2018, where they focused on providing education consulting and services to secondary school students. Simon then joined RUSH in 2018 and served as a Data Analyst, Web Developer | VueJS, Business Analyst, Product Owner, and most recently as a Product Lead.

Simon Thomas attended Glenfield College from 2007 to 2011. From 2012 to 2015, they studied at The University of Auckland, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
