Rust Construction is a fourth-generation, family-owned design-build remodeling company based in Alexandria, Virginia. Since 1921, we have worked on homes across Alexandria, Arlington, and the Washington, DC area with a focus on thoughtful design, careful construction, and long-term quality.

Our work includes kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home renovations, additions, and historic home remodeling. We are especially interested in the details that make older homes better: structure, comfort, durability, energy performance, materials, and respect for the original character of the house.
