Lori Lorusso

Lori Lorusso is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in outreach, community engagement, and marketing across various technology and open-source organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Outreach at the Rust Foundation since August 2025, Lori previously held positions as Head of Community at Percona and Open Source Program Manager at JFrog, where responsibilities included networking with multiple foundations and executing marketing strategies to enhance community engagement. Additionally, Lori has contributed to the Continuous Delivery Foundation in leadership roles related to conference programming. Previous experience also includes marketing and communications roles at Oracle, the Alliance of Comprehensive Planners, and Media A.S.E., showcasing a strong background in community building and digital marketing strategies. Lori holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Communication from Florida State University.
