Jakob Dewitt

Jakob DeWitt is a seasoned education and outdoor program professional with diverse experience. Currently serving as a Trip Leader at Backroads since May 2023, Jakob also holds a position as a Program Leader at Rustic Pathways since March 2019, where responsibilities involve leading travel programs for international secondary school students in Thailand and Laos. With a background as an English Language Teacher for VIPKid from November 2016 to October 2023 and previous teaching roles in both public schools and international settings, Jakob has developed expertise in curriculum implementation, outdoor education, and language instruction. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science from Greenville University and an Associate of Arts from Clackamas Community College.
