Will Smith

Will Smith, MD, Paramedic, FAEMS, is an accomplished emergency medicine physician based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with extensive experience as a medical leader and educator. As President and Medical Director of Wilderness and Emergency Medicine Consulting LLC since 2004, Dr. Smith also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Washington School of Medicine and holds the position of Medical Director for the US National Park Service. In the United States Army Reserve, Dr. Smith is a Colonel in the US Army Medical Corps and oversees the Army EMS and Disaster Medicine Program. Additional roles include Medical Director for Jackson Hole Fire/EMS, Teton County Search and Rescue, Rustic Pathways, and faculty for Wilderness Medical Associates International. Dr. Smith's education includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington and board certification in EMS from the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
