Alex Sharp

Alex Sharp is currently the UK Operations Director at RutterKey Solutions. Prior to this, they spent fifteen years at BAE Systems, starting in January 2004 and eventually becoming Lead Architect. In this role, they were responsible for the delivery of ERP integration projects worth millions of dollars annually. Alex managed a team of twenty that was distributed globally, providing services such as ERP deployments, software development, and operational business consultancy.

With a strong focus on delivering key logistics capability to the US Department of Defense and Warfighters, Sharp has also worked with other allies on digital transformation projects for future logistics information systems. Alex is an expert in Containerisation, DevOps, and SecDevOps for ERPs.

Alex Sharp's educational career includes a Master's degree in Analysis Design and Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Systems Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, and GCE and GCSE Level A-Levels in Design, Maths, Computer Science, and Sciences from Giggleswick School. Alex also holds certifications from IFS in IFS Learning Achievement - Lifecycle Experience - Cloud Build Place, IFS Learning Achievement - Business Value Engineering, IFS Learning Achievement - IFS Scope Tool Essentials, IFS Specialist Consultant, IFS Certified Associate Consultant, and IFS Learning Achievement - IFS Applications 10 Essentials for Consultants. In addition, Alex is a ZapThink LLC Licensed Architect and a Boomi Associate Master Data Hub.
