Our journey began with a simple mission: to build financial products that genuinely support people as they build their lives.

Over time, that mission became clearer. We saw how small and medium-sized businesses, especially in the UK, are expected to do more every day while navigating financial systems that are often complex, fragmented, and not designed around their reality. Just as businesses grow and adapt, so did we.

Our name, RUUT, comes from the word root.

The foundation that holds everything steady while growth happens above. We replaced the “O” with a “U” to emphasise what matters most: you. Because behind every business is a person, and behind every number is real work being done.

Today, RUUT is built to support small and medium-sized businesses in the United Kingdom with clear, dependable financial solutions. By bringing payments, business banking, and financial tools into one place, we support SMEs with the clarity and consistency they deserve.

Under the Moka United umbrella, RUUT continues to grow with a clear focus: to be a financial partner that shows up consistently, supports real work, and stays close as businesses move forward.
