Julia Geurts

Julia Geurts has a diverse work experience in human resources and student leadership roles. Julia started their career in 2016 as a Telefonische verkoopmedewerker at BSG. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Voorzitter and later as the Secretaris at Ipso Facto Study association, where they were responsible for various tasks including speech-giving, member recruitment, and event organization. In 2019, they worked as a Trainer and developer at Enactus Academy Utrecht, focusing on social entrepreneurship. Following this, they became a Studentmedewerker at the Universiteit Utrecht, supporting students with disabilities through the Buddyprogramma Platform Onbeperkt Studeren. In 2021, they worked as an HR-Coördinator at Kraton Corporation and as a Stagair onderzoek duurzame inzetbaarheid at Nederlandse Voedsel- en Warenautoriteit (NVWA). In 2022, they took on the role of HR-Officer at ACT Commodities Group. Currently, they are serving as an HR Interim Professional at Rvdb, gaining valuable experience through interim assignments in various industries. Additionally, they are currently working as an HR Operations Support a.i. at Mama Cash. Throughout their career, Julia has demonstrated a strong passion for HR and an eagerness to foster social and sustainable entrepreneurship.

Julia Geurts has a diverse education history. Julia completed their Master's degree in Strategisch Human Resource Management at Utrecht University from 2020 to 2021. During the same period, they also participated in the Honourscollege UU at Utrecht University, focusing on the Leiderschapsprogramma. In 2020, Julia pursued a minor in Bestuurs- en Organisatiewetenschap Algemeen at Utrecht University. Prior to their time at Utrecht University, they attended Wageningen University & Research from 2016 to 2020, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Internationale Ontwikkelingsstudies. In 2018, Julia had a brief academic experience at the University of Helsinki, studying Social Sciences. Julia'seducational journey began at Bernard lievegoed vrijeschool from 2009 to 2016, where they completed their VWO degree with a specialization in Cultuur en maatschappij.
