So when our father, Maj. Gen. L.P. Sharma, threw us into the deep end in the Himalayas, we took to it like trout to water.

To take the essence of a place and a person, and bring the two together to create a transformational experience – that was our dream.

So we decided to make it a reality – and RVentures was born out of a love for discovery.

The “R” in RVentures Holidays stands for us:

– and it’s a play on “our ventures”… because after 30 years in travel, we’re still massively inspired and deeply fulfilled by our part of the planet – India, Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and Sri Lanka.
For us, it’s not just another holiday you take, or another tick on your bucket list.
