James Cohen

James Cohen is a skilled Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in various programming languages and technologies. Currently at RVU since March 2021, James specializes in Clojure, Ruby, SQL (BigQuery, Postgres, and MySQL), AWS, and Kubernetes. Prior to this role, James worked at SimCorp from May 2017 to March 2021 as a Senior Developer, utilizing F#, C#, WPF, Powershell, Eventstore, Oracle PL/SQL, and Azure. James also held positions at Martin-Baker Aircraft Co Ltd, starting as an Industrial Placement Student in various roles between 2009 and 2014, culminating in a Software Engineer position from September 2014 to May 2017, where skills in C#, WPF, MongoDB, and Embedded C were employed. James obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Cardiff University in 2014.
