David Fast is an accomplished scientist and engineer currently working at RWDI since November 2018, focusing on projects related to wind loading effects on tall buildings. David has extensive experience in thermal engineering and business development, having served as Vice President of Applications Engineering at Dau Thermal Solutions North America from January 2008 to October 2018. In that role, David oversaw the design and specification of thermal products, conducted thermal analyses, and facilitated sales and customer engagements. Prior to that, David held various engineering and sales positions at ATS/Tyco Electronics, Powersink, Rittal Systems Ltd., Intelatech, and R-Theta, with responsibilities ranging from product design to sales support. David began a professional career as a high school teacher in Mathematics and Science before earning a BASc and MASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Education in Math and Physics from the University of Western Ontario.
