John Kilpatrick

John Kilpatrick is a Senior Technical Director in Wind Engineering at RWDI, a position held since 2025. They have been a Principal at RWDI since 2011 and previously served as Practice Area Leader for Wind Engineering from 2018. With eighteen years of experience in wind engineering across Canada, the UK, and beyond, they have received ASCE awards for research on tall building performance. John also held leadership roles within the UK Wind Engineering Society, including Chair and Vice Chair, promoting wind engineering's significance within the built environment. They earned a PhD in Wind Engineering and two additional degrees from Western University.
