Rob Tonin

Rob Tonin is currently the VP, Corporate Services at RWDI. Prior to this, they worked as the Corporate Audit Manager at Wal-Mart Canada Corp. from September 2002 to September 2003. There, they successfully redesigned the audit program and performed quarterly financial reviews of the Canadian operations, reporting findings to the CFO in Canada and USA senior management team. Rob also successfully led a special audit of Canadian real estate joint venture, including audit program design, testing and reporting findings to senior audit director in USA. In addition, they developed and delivered a training program to expand field auditors' understanding of financial audits.

Before Wal-Mart, Rob Tonin was a Manager at Hillson & Co. LLP from June 1999 to September 2002. There, they managed client service needs, including identification of value-added service opportunities, negotiated fee levels, determined client deliverables and staffing requirements. Rob also managed the delivery of audit, accounting and tax services to clients across multiple economic spectrums including manufacturing, agriculture, service and not-for-profit. Rob authored a litigation support report that secured $1.5M estate settlement for our client. In addition, they conducted internal control reviews, developed product costing formulas and provided recommendations for operational improvements.

Rob Tonin is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Accountant (CA) who received their Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University. Rob is also a graduate of Bishop MacDonnell.

They work with Mark Chatten - VP, Strategic Initiatives & Principal, Andrew Bell - Technical Director, Acoustician, and Adam Trosko - Project Manager. Their manager is Anton Davies, Founding Partner.
