Suresh Kumar is the Principal, VP, Global Consulting & MD, India at RWDI. Suresh has over twenty-five years of experience in the architectural engineering and construction industry. Suresh has worked on a variety of projects ranging from high-rise buildings to nuclear power plants.

Suresh Kumar began their career as an Engineer at Tata Consulting Engineers Limited in 1992. Suresh worked on the seismic analysis of nuclear reactor buildings. In 1995, they joined Concordia University as a Teaching Specialist. Suresh was promoted to Adjunct Assistant Professor in 1999. Suresh taught courses in structural mechanics and dynamics.

In 2002, Suresh Kumar left Concordia University to join RWDI as a Principal Consultant. Suresh has since been promoted to VP, Global Consulting & MD, India. In this role, they lead a team of engineers and architects who provide consulting services to clients around the world.

Suresh Kumar has a Ph.D. in Wind Engineering from Concordia University, an MSc (Engg) in Wind Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering from University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, India. Suresh also has a post-doctorate from Eindhoven University of Technology. Suresh is a lifetime member of the Indian Society for Wind Engineering and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Suresh Kumar reports to Michael Soligo, President & CEO. They work with Benjamin Coulson - Senior Consultant & Principal, Brad Bergeron - VP, Industry, Senior Project Manager & Principal, and Mark Vanderheyden - VP, Americas.
