Jason Smith

Jason Smith is a Technical Director currently employed at RWS Global Sports, where they have been since 2024. They previously held roles as a Technical Director at RWS Global and Great Big Events, as well as serving as Technical and Events Manager at Arts Queensland from 2014 to 2019. Earlier in their career, Jason worked as a Lighting and Technical Production Manager at Lighting Dimensions and held positions including Account Manager at con-sol Pty Limited and Technical Events Manager at Kings Place. They have extensive experience in event technology and production, having also worked as an Operations Support Officer at The Events Centre, Caloundra, and an Event Technology and Production Specialist from 2019 to 2022. Jason completed their education at Queensland University of Technology from 2003 to 2021.
