Sofia Mejia

Sofia Mejia is a seasoned project manager specializing in life sciences at RWS since June 2018, responsible for managing complex accounts, coordinating translation into 25 languages, and training new hires. Prior experience includes serving as a Linguistic Services Support Officer and Spanish Translator at the World Meteorological Organization, where responsibilities involved developing terminology guidelines and supporting translation efforts. Additional roles include freelance translation, internships in terminology, and translation support for organizations such as The Global Fund and the United Nations Office at Geneva. Sofia holds a Master's Degree in Specialized Translation and Translation Technologies from the University of Geneva, alongside multiple Bachelor's Degrees in Conference Interpreting and Translation from Universidad del Salvador.
