John Soward

John Soward is an experienced instructor currently teaching CS316 at the University of Kentucky College of Engineering since August 2023. With a strong background in information technology, John has been providing instruction to IT professionals at RX-M, LLC since March 2017, covering topics such as IoT, Git, and MongoDB. John's management role at Dataseam since September 2010 focuses on research initiatives, while previous experience includes serving as IT Track Faculty at the MacWorld Conference from 2005 to 2013, presenting on various subjects including XGrid and iOS development. Additionally, John held the position of IT Manager III at the University of Kentucky from August 1994 to October 2010, overseeing academic technical services, web development, and server administration. John earned a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Kentucky, graduating in 1994.
