Doug Nutter has over forty years of experience in business development and management. From 1977 to 1997, they worked at General Electric in various roles, including General Manager and Product Manager. During their time there, they achieved business growth from $15M to $55M annually in one line, from $45M to $135M annually in another line, and from $150M to $200M in a third market line. Doug also led the development to create and establish two joint ventures, one in Japan and one in Germany.

In 1997, Doug Nutter became the President and Geschäftsführer of Exatec LLC, a joint venture between General Electric and Bayer A. G. Doug was responsible for developing and commercializing technology for automotive side and rear windows from polycarbonate. From 2001 to 2007, they served as the Vice President of Business Development at Optical Research Associates, and then as General Manager at Zygo Corporation from 2007 to 2009.

Doug Nutter then returned to AuroraPath Advisors as President from 2009 to 2012. In this role, they managed customer success through product commercialization achievements from early stage ventures to developing companies and global multinational firms. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Development Officer at SynCardia Systems, Inc., where they oversaw engineering, product development, product research, and program management. In 2017, they became the Chief Marketing Officer at RxActuator, where they helped to develop the Mini-Infuser, a wearable infusion pump.

Doug Nutter attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1972 to 1975, where they earned a S.B. in Physics.
