Andrew Carr

Andrew Carr is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry operations with extensive experience in pharmaceutical development. Currently serving as the Director of Chemistry Operations at RXCELERATE LIMITED since January 2024, Andrew previously held key roles at Charles River Laboratories, including Senior Group Leader and Pharmaceutics Team Leader, where expertise in solid-state, physicochemical, and formulation science facilitated the selection of robust pre-clinical drug candidates. Prior experience includes Senior Scientist and Project Leader at Pharmorphix - Johnson Matthey, as well as positions at Lectus Therapeutics, Sareum Ltd, Medivir AB, and Oxford GlycoSciences. Andrew holds an MChem degree in Chemistry from the University of York, awarded in 2001.
