Lars Oddsson

Lars Oddsson has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Lars is currently the CTO & Co-Founder of RxFunction, Inc. since November 2017, where they previously served as the President and Co-Founder from May 2010 to October 2017. Lars is also an Adjunct Professor and Faculty member at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, starting in October and December 2014 respectively. Additionally, they are a Member of BiotechBuilders since 2010 and a Visiting Professor at Ben Gurion University of the Negev since October 2014.

Lars has also held positions outside of academia, such as being a Board Director and Board of Directors member at Alley Institute from 2009 to November 2017 and May 2012 to May 2015 respectively. Lars was also an Executive Leadership Team-Volunteer Member at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association from March 2013 to March 2015.

Furthermore, Lars has served as the Director of Research at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute from July 2007 to June 2014, as well as Founder & Owner of MEDkanicK LLC from July 2007 to May 2014. Lars has been a Node Leader at PIEp - Product Innovation Engineering Program from June 2006 to June 2014, and a Member of the Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute senior leadership team at Allina Hospitals & Clinics from July 2007 to May 2013.

Lars Oddsson has a diverse education history. Lars completed their PhD in Neuromotor Control and Biomechanics from Karolinska Institutet between 1983 and 1990. Lars also holds a Mini-MBA in Medtech management, which they obtained in 2008 from the University of St. Thomas. In 2006, they participated in a program on Technology Commercialization at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University. Prior to their doctoral studies, Lars pursued a degree in Phys Ed, Biomechanics, and Exercise Sciences from GIH - The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences from 1979 to 1981. Additionally, they began studying Engineering, specifically Technical Physics and Electrotechnology, at Linköping University from 1973 to 1976, although they didn't complete the degree.

Lars has also obtained a certification in Good Clinical Practice and Human Research Protections for Biomedical Study Teams from the CITI Program in August 2021, further adding to their qualifications.
