Alan Gardner

Alan Gardner has been employed in the healthcare industry since 1989. Alan began their career at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation as a Business Analyst. Alan then moved on to Remettra, Inc. in 2002, taking on the role of President & COO. In 1995, they became the Director of Operations at NMHCRx (now OptumRx). In 2006, they became the Director of Patient Systems and Process Improvement at UAMS. In 2008, they began working at RxResults | Evidence-Based Pharmacy Risk Management, first as the Chief Executive Officer and then as the Senior Vice President of Operations. In 2009, they became a Member of the Board of Trustees of the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs, Inc. and in 2012, they became a Member of the Board of Directors of the NCPDP Foundation. In 2017, they returned to the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs, Inc. as a Member of the Board of Trustees, serving as Chair of the Finance Committee twice and also serving on the Executive Committee and Compensation Committee.

Alan Gardner obtained their MBA in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1996. Alan had previously earned a BS in Mathematical Sciences & Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986.
