Derrick Thomann

Derrick Thomann is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in field service engineering and management within the medical technology sector. Currently serving as the Regional Manager for U.S. Field Service in the West region at RxSight, Inc. since August 2020, Derrick has held multiple roles including Field Service Lead and Senior Field Service Engineer. Previous experience includes working as a Field Engineer IV at Medtronic following its acquisition of Mazor Robotics, where Derrick supported spinal surgery robotic systems. Derrick also contributed significantly as a Field Engineer at Mazor Robotics and spent a decade at IDEX Health & Science, LLC as a Research and Development Engineering Tech IV, focusing on rapid prototype projects. Derrick began a career in technology as a Lead Technician at Spectra-Physics and holds an Associate of Science degree in Laser and Optical Engineering from Indian Hills.
