Donggee Hong

DongGee Hong is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Director of R&D at RxSight since February 2022, following a tenure as Sr. Principal Software Engineer and Software Architect at the same company since June 2015. With a robust background in biomedical device system architecture, DongGee has expertise in ARM (Cortex-A, Cortex-M), RTOS, and embedded Linux, as well as in communication protocol design and compliance with FDA regulations. Prior roles include software engineering positions at Isomark and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where significant contributions were made to microarray fabrication technologies and system integration. DongGee holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
