Michael Vaughan

Michael Vaughan is an experienced Director of Engineering currently leading the Sustaining and Manufacturing Engineering team at RxSight, where they support new product introduction, process development, and continuous improvement in the manufacturing of medical devices. Previously, Vaughan held various leadership roles, including Senior Director of System Engineering at QuidelOrtho and Director of Engineering at Advanced Bionics, among others. With a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Memphis and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Fresno, Vaughan possesses strong expertise in the medical device industry, encompassing skills in FMEA, quality systems, and project management.
