Floyd Ryan

Floyd Ryan is the Owner and President of Ryan Consulting, providing subject matter expert consulting services on naval shipboard combat systems, particularly in AEGIS acquisition, program management, and logistics support, since December 2011. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Engineer at Wyle Labs-Aerospace Group from 2009 to March 2010, where Floyd Ryan delivered technical services to the P-8 Program Office for advanced anti-submarine capability acquisition management. Additionally, Floyd Ryan served in the U.S. Navy from 1989 to 2003 as the Deputy for System Acquisition, focusing on the acquisition of combat system elements for AEGIS Combat Systems. Floyd Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Program Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Sciences from Frostburg State University.
