Randy Smith

Randy Smith is a NICET Level II certified Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Inspector with over 24 years of experience in the fire protection industry. They began their career as a Fire Inspector at Tyco SimplexGrinnell from 2000 to 2016, where they led inspections and trained others in compliance with safety standards. Currently, Randy serves as a Project Manager at Ryan Fireprotection, having held several positions including Senior Project Manager and Senior Fire Alarm Technician, where they test, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems and portable fire extinguishers. Randy earned an Associate's degree in Industrial Electronics Technology from DeVry University and graduated with a high school diploma from Whitney Young High School.
