Luca Carrera has extensive experience in aviation with a career spanning multiple airlines. Beginning as a Flight Instructor at Aernova from March 2000 to September 2003, Luca transitioned to the role of First Officer at Neos SpA from September 2003 to November 2007 and then served as a First Officer at Air Italy until August 2008. Luca assumed captaincy on various aircraft, including the A330 at SmartLynx Airlines Ltd from January 2022 to January 2023 and on the Global 6000 at VistaJet from February 2023 to May 2024. Currently, Luca holds the position of Captain at Ryanair since May 2024.
