Mike Kavanagh is an accomplished aviation professional with extensive experience in aeronautical engineering and technical training. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Instructor at Ryanair since July 2017, Mike specializes in B1 type instruction for B737NG and Max, alongside training junior engineers on the same aircraft. Additionally, as a freelance aeronautical engineer and aviation English language trainer since September 2013, Mike has provided training to air traffic controllers, pilots, and engineers, and developed technical courses and assessments in aerodynamics. Previous roles at Airbus Group included leadership in the A320 NEO Loads and Vibrations Working Group and various engineering positions focusing on wing loads and aeroelasticity. Mike holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Aircraft Engineering from Cranfield University, earned between 2007 and 2010.
