Ronan Cobbe

Ronan Cobbe has over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as Deputy Director of Engineering Standards at Ryanair since January 2001. Previous roles at Ryanair include Technical Standards Engineer, Maintenance Controller, Assistant Maintenance Controller, and Line Maintenance Engineer. Prior to Ryanair, Ronan Cobbe worked as a Line Maintenance Engineer at FLS Aerospace and held the position of Assistant Shift Leader in the Instrument Shop at TEAM Aer Lingus. Ronan Cobbe began his career with an Avionics Apprenticeship at Aer Lingus. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Aircraft Technical Services from Technological University of the Shannon, a Certificate in Technical Aircraft Management from the Institute of Technology, Carlow, an ILM Diploma in Leadership and Management, and multiple certifications in Leadership and Management from KMS College of IT and Management and the College of Management and IT, along with a Certificate in Electronics (Avionics) from Technological University Dublin.
