Alan Hawkins

Alan Hawkins has extensive work experience in the security industry. Alan is currently working as the Director of Technical Security at RYCOM since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Technical Operations at OHM Security Ltd. from July 2022 to April 2023. From December 2019 to July 2022, they worked as an Account Executive - Security at ESC Automation.

Before joining ESC Automation, Alan worked at Security Locksmith & Design Ltd. as a Security and Integration Specialist from March 2019 to December 2019. In this role, they were responsible for designing and project managing medium to large enterprise-level system integrations, researching and testing new technologies, as well as assigning integrators to various projects throughout Canada.

Alan's earlier experience includes working as an Installation Manager at G4S Secure Integration from January 2017 to March 2019, where they were responsible for assigning technicians and ensuring timely completion of projects. Alan also served as a Lead Technician at the same company from September 2015 to January 2017, supervising and guiding technicians/sub-contractors working on projects.

Prior to G4S Secure Integration, Alan worked as a Security Analyst/Integrator at Canex Technologies Inc. from September 2013 to September 2015. Alan also worked as a Self Employed Consultant/Security Engineer at Alan Hawkins - Security & Consultancy from November 2012 to September 2013.

Alan's earlier experiences include working as a Technical Manager of Systems Integration at SECURATEK SOLUTIONS from May 2007 to November 2012, as well as a Fire and Security Engineer at SLA Protec from August 2006 to April 2007 and Barrington Security from April 2003 to August 2006.

Alan Hawkins completed their education in a chronological order. From 2006 to 2008, they attended Northern Regional College, where they pursued a degree in HNC. Alan'sfield of study during this time was Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Following that, from 2010 to 2011, they enrolled at Belfast Metropolitan College and obtained a degree in MCTS. The focus of their studies during this period was Network and Infrastructure.
