Bill English

Bill English has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Bill started their career as a Store Manager at Forzani Group Ltd, where they worked from 1997 to 2003. After that, they served as a Front Store Manager at Shoppers Drug Mart from 2003 to 2007, where they implemented stronger inventory control guidelines. Bill then worked as a Store Manager at Sportchek from 2007 to 2008, focusing on driving sales and managing expenses. Following that, they managed a Michaels Arts and Crafts store as a Store Manager from 2008 to 2010, handling sales, budgeting, and team training.

From 2010 to 2013, they worked as an Installation Supervisor at Trask Contracting. Bill then joined UCIT Online Security Inc, where they served as a Lead Installer from 2013 to 2018, leading the Fixed Installation division. During this time, they gained experience in security installation and integration, including intrusion, access control, and camera systems.

In 2018, Bill joined G4S as the Lead Installation Technician, responsible for managing and leading multiple enterprise-level security installations. Bill played a key role in designing and implementing a new security system, creating a new vertical for the company.

From 2021 to 2022, they worked at ESC Automation as an Installation Manager - Security and a Security Project Manager. In these roles, they oversaw security installations and managed projects.

In 2022, they joined OHM Security Ltd as a Senior Electronic Security Integrator, and in 2023, they began working as a Project Manager - Technical Security at RYCOM. Both of these roles demonstrate their expertise in technical security.

Throughout their career, Bill has honed their skills in project management, technical security, installation, team management, and sales.

Bill English attended Sheridan College from 1993 to 1995, where they studied Marketing and Finance. During their education, they obtained additional certifications from various institutions, including AMAG Technology, RS2 Technologies, Avigilon, Salient Systems, Exacq, Genetec, IndigoVision, Kantech Access Control, and March Networks.
