John Seymour

John Seymour is currently serving as the General Counsel at Rye Development, a role they have held since 2022. Prior to this position, they worked as a Partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP for eight years and held various leadership roles, including Executive Director of Wind Development at NextEra Energy Resources from 2002 to 2009. John began their legal career as an Associate at White & Case and served as Senior Counsel at NRG Energy from 1997 to 1999. Additionally, they served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Department of the Air Force from 1979 to 1985, specializing as a Korean linguist-analyst. John earned a JD from Columbia Law School and a BS in Business Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
