Joe Mariscal

Joe Mariscal is an experienced cybersecurity and IT professional with over two decades of expertise in managing data center operations and cybersecurity compliance. Currently serving as the Director of Cybersecurity and Compliance at Ryerson since October 2014, Joe has held several key positions, including Assistant Director and Senior Manager within the cybersecurity domain. Prior to this role, Joe directed IT operations at TTC Marketing Solutions, overseeing a 24/7 data center and managing significant upgrades to network and VoIP systems. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity from DePaul University, an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry. Joe Mariscal also served in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Sergeant and earning multiple commendations.
